Golf Tournament

You do not need to be an experienced golfer to be part of the Chamber’s Golf Tournament. This event is first and foremost a day of connection, community, and support for the Amherst Area Chamber’s work to strengthen local business and regional vitality. For those who are newer to golf, returning after time away, or simply unsure what to expect, we are creating a more welcoming pathway to participate.

New golfer-friendly options may include:

• Newcomer Foursomes: Teams designed for newer or casual golfers who want to enjoy the day in a low-pressure, supportive setting.
• Ambassador Support: A Chamber Ambassador or experienced golfer may be paired with newer teams to help explain the flow, etiquette, and format.
• Simple “How It Works” Guidance: Participants will receive clear information in advance about the tournament format, what to bring, what to wear, and what to expect throughout the day.

Whether you are a longtime golfer, a first-time participant, a sponsor, or a business leader looking to build new relationships, this event is designed to be welcoming, fun, and accessible. Our goal is to make the Chamber’s largest fundraiser a stronger point of connection for the full Amherst Area business community.
