    Event Description:
    Thérèse Légère, longtime resident of the Pionner Valley, is mostly known as the Business Manager at the Fiber Art Center in Amherst, a dancer with the Crescent Dancers, weaver, and seamstress invites you to her exhibition at the Amherst Chamber of Commerce. “The Artistic Nature of Thérèse Légère” explores her inner and outer nature through oil paintings and oil pastel drawings. The richness and variety of styles are depicted through her still life’s, landscapes, portraits, and her intuitive art. Her interest in art started at an early age by majoring in fine arts at the College St-Laurent in Montreal. She was strongly influenced and formed by Jean Lefebure; a student and artist of the Automatiste movement in Montreal.
