Susan Dion of Belchertown will be sharing her paintings and drawings, interpreting the natural beauty of the local area. The artist is a life-long resident of the Pioneer Valley and has been an artist for over 50 years. She obtained a degree in Fine Arts from Westfield State University and is an active member of the Amherst Plein Air Society. Dion’s reverential and keen observations of nature and love for the Impressionists have inspired her to try to capture and play with the effects of light, space, and multiple colors found in her world. A portion of all sales will be donated The Trustees of the Reservations, whose mission is to preserve for public use and enjoyment, properties of exceptional scenic, historic, and ecological value in Massachusetts.
