Recommended for ages 16 and up Meet author-illustrator David Small as he talks about his graphic novel, Home After Dark. Small's first graphic novel since his best-selling and award-winning memoir, Stitches, Home After Dark delves into the impact of adolescence devoid of positive male models and the often murky moral decisions boys must make at school, around their community, and inside the home. David Small, author of the #1 New York Times bestselling Stitches, is the recipient of the Caldecott Medal, two Caldecott Honors, the Christopher Medal, the E. B. White Award, and is a National Book Award Finalist. He and his wife, author Sarah Stewart, live in Michigan. Book signing to follow program. Can't make it to the event?
