The Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce and Amherst Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) are partnering with United Way of Hampshire County to create the first Amherst Downtown Lives United Day on Saturday, May 18, 2019.
Local businesses have committed 5% of sales that day, or a minimum of $250 to the collective impact of United Way. Amherst has always been known for matching its big heart with active voices when witnessing inequalities. Raising money to give it right back to our community allows us to activate our collective voice in a united front.
When you support local businesses on Lives United Day you are also supporting the United Way of Hampshire County.
