Distinguished former judge Mike Ryan of Northampton will tell the story of how he found his unique collection of original primary historical sources - signatures, photographs - and books relating to leading figures in Ireland's rich literary and political history. Mike will exhibit a copy of the rebel Michael Collins' signature, tell you about his acquisition of a book signed by 'The Immortal Irishman,' Thomas Francis Meagher in Richmond Prison; and view a fun photo of popular Irish writer Maeve Binchy and friends (signed by all those present). There's a great story behind every treasure. Event includes free tea and scones. Bígí linn! You're invited!
