Mohawk Trail Concerts celebrating 40th Summer Season
In recognition of the 250th Anniversary of the Town of Amherst, we salute the longtime connection with MTC has enjoyed with its fine resident performers and loyal audience members. UMass faculty members Laura and Lynn Klock (horn and saxophone) with Estela Olevsky, piano will play the premiere of a new work, Music for a Midsummer Evening by distinguished Amherst composer Robert Stern. Nadine Shank, piano, Laura and Lynn Klock will also play a variety of delightful pieces including Scaramouche Suite, by Milhaud, and many others.On Saturday July 4 the program is presented as America's Birthday,
A Free Family Concert in shortened format without intermission and starting earlier at 7 p.m. to allow time for proceeding to local festivities and fireworks displays following the concert. More Info
