In celebration of our 50th Anniversary, we are pleased to offer special children’s programs featuring noted authors from our very own parent community! All programs take place at the Common School, and are free and open to Common School families and the public. The School will provide snacks and refreshments and free books while supplies last. RSVPs are encouraged, so we can make sure we have enough materials and snacks. Children must be accompanied by adults. For more information contact Pamela Barnes at Pamela@commonschool.org or 413-256-8989 ****************************************** Saturday, March 31 from 3-5pm – Holly Black: "The Spiderwick Chronicles" - from book series to a movie. For kids ages 9 and up. Have you ever wondered where writers get their ideas for a book…and how a book becomes a movie? Holly Black will read from her series, The Spiderwick Chronicles and talk about making the movie. We’ll view clips from the movie, hear about some of the new books Holly is working on, and ponder the question “Are faeries real?” http://blackholly.com/ ********************************************
